Job Details

Job Title: Technical Product Manager

Location: Remote, US

At Neovance, we’re transforming the patient experience by driving better outcomes through compassion, innovation, and operational excellence. With more than 30 years of experience partnering with the biopharmaceutical industry, we deliver agile, technology-enabled patient access solutions that help people start and stay on therapy.

Our expertise spans HUB services, patient assistance programs, field reimbursement, nursing, and non-commercial pharmacy - each designed to remove barriers to care and ensure patients receive the therapies they need when they need them.

Guided by our values of Agility, Integrity, Tenacity, Unity, and Quality, we work as one Neovance team to optimize access, enhance adherence, and make a meaningful impact, one patient at a time.

The Opportunity:

As a Technical Product Manager at Neovance, you’ll own the product areas where integrations, system dependencies, and scalability matter most, helping build a modern, intelligent platform that uses data, automation, and seamless engagement to help more patients start and stay on their prescribed therapies. You’ll combine customer discovery, product judgment, and technical expertise to find opportunities, define how the product behaves across systems, and guide trade-offs that balance today’s customer needs with long-term platform growth.

Your first priorities: move the platform toward general availability and strengthen its ability to serve multiple customer programs reliably and efficiently. As the platform matures, your focus will shift to scaling needs and new opportunities uncovered through market research, customer discovery, and business strategy. Assignments may include integration capabilities, customer configuration, product instrumentation, reusable components, and technically complex workflows.

This is an individual contributor Technical Product Manager role (no direct reports) reporting to the VP, Product Management. It’s a strong fit for technical product managers, platform product managers, or software engineers who have moved into product ownership. You’ll use your engineering knowledge to lead product work; ongoing production coding isn’t required.

What You'll Do:

  • Own your product areas, setting objectives, roadmap priorities, backlog decisions, and success measures aligned with customer needs, business strategy, and the broader product roadmap.
  • Lead customer and stakeholder discovery, research workflows, and evaluate where product investment will create meaningful value.
  • Partner with Design, Engineering, and Architecture to shape valuable, scalable solutions and identify opportunities for reuse, configuration, and further platform investment.
  • Define clear, testable product behavior across application components and external services, including workflows, data flows, interface contracts, business rules, configuration, permissions, exceptions, dependencies, and functional and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Evaluate technical approaches with Engineering and Architecture, making assumptions and trade-offs explicit across customer experience, data integrity, performance, reliability, scalability, maintainability, implementation effort, and technical debt.
  • Assess third-party vendors for functional fit, technical compatibility, cost, reliability, and support, and define integration expectations for data mapping, authentication, validation, failure handling, and compatibility.
  • Define instrumentation, event, metadata, and diagnostic requirements, then use product telemetry, customer feedback, operational results, and support trends to measure outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Turn complex technical discussions into clear options, decisions, and requirements for technical and business audiences, and partner through delivery and validation to confirm capabilities meet acceptance criteria and intended outcomes.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering technically complex software products through product management, software engineering, or a related discipline, with demonstrated product ownership and sound judgment.
  • A strong technical foundation from software engineering or comparable hands-on experience. You can evaluate application behavior, APIs, data models, integrations, configuration, system dependencies, authentication, processing patterns, and common failure scenarios, and you work directly with API specifications, data schemas, system diagrams, event definitions, and technical documentation to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Proven ability to connect customer needs and business objectives to product decisions through opportunity evaluation, prioritization, and trade-off management, with experience engaging customers or business stakeholders across the software development lifecycle, from discovery through delivery, validation, and improvement.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. You influence decisions, explain technical concepts clearly, and work effectively through ambiguity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred:

  • Experience with enterprise software, configurable workflow applications, CRM platforms, or products serving multiple customer programs; developing products through general availability, scaling, or major platform transformation; and healthcare technology or other environments with privacy, security, consent, and audit requirements.
  • Experience evaluating technology vendors, delivering API-based integrations, and using product analytics or instrumentation, plus working knowledge of SQL, API testing tools, logs, product telemetry, cloud platforms, integration middleware, or analytics technologies.

Compensation & Benefits:

All job offers are determined based on a candidate’s location, skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Regular, full-time, or part-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • Life Insurance
  • Short- and Long-Term Disability
  • 401(k) with a 5% company match with immediate vesting
  • Personal Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO)
  • Company bonus where applicable
